Since the debut of the first cohort of Unglamorous bands on IWD 2022 the Unglamorous music project, driven by the incredible Ruth Miller has changed the Leicester musical landscape. With more bands being formed, and since we are being joined by our Unglamorous Folkstone sisters, we have decided to launch an Unglamorous takeover of Leicester, turning International Women’s day into International Women’s Weekend!
So now you have 3 opportunities to celebrate women in music and to help us to celebrate the amazing achievements of our punk mum, Ruth.
