Sadly we don't have a car park and local street parking is very limited as we are a city centre venue, however there are some good local carparks:

The closest is Newarke Street, LE1 5SN (Open Monday to Saturday, 6.30-1am. Sundays 10am-6pm)

Doors are usually 7pm and curfew 10/11pm, however times can vary, so please check your ticket or our social media 🙂

In general we are an 18+ venue but check the ticket page or event page for the shows age restriction info. If it doesn't mention age restrictions then the show is 18+

We don't have an in house promoter at Firebug. Bands and promoters hire our venue to put on their own shows. If that's something you're interested in please get in touch [email protected]

Most shows have an on stage curfew of 10/11pm, however we are open until 4am EVERY NIGHT, with club nights upstairs and chilled out food and drinks downstairs 🙂

If you're wanting to take professional photos of gigs then please let us know in advance. It's usually fine but it's always best to check with us first. [email protected] We'd love you to tag us on Instagram We usually share tagged photos if we can 🙂

These things happen! Get in touch with whoever you booked with straight away – they can usually arrange replacements. Sadly, there’s not much the venue can do, though.

Provided the show is not sold out, you'll be able to buy tickets on the door.

Our preferred ticket vendor is Gigantic but we have tickets on sale via some other major ticketing vendors. We don't sell tickets for gigs behind our downstairs bar! Most of our comedy show tickets are available here: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/tripleceepee We wouldn't advise purchasing through secondary ticketing sites such as Viagogo or Stubhub.

We have lots of seating downstairs and in the garden with limited seating upstairs in the venue. Please let us know if you're coming in and need a seat, we'll do our best to accommodate you 🙂 [email protected]

We serve fresh, homemade food at Firebug every day during these times: Monday, Sunday, Tuesday + Wednesday: Midday -10pm Thursday-Saturday: Midday – 3.30am

We have indicated on our menus which dishes are vegan, gluten free and vegetarian, however you can tailor most options by asking us to leave out or change ingredients where possible. Please mention when ordering if you’re vegan! Try something reasonably priced, delicious and often locally sourced today! Here's our current menus!

Yes! All out teas are fair trade and our coffee from local St Martins is Rainforest Alliance Certified. We also have hot chocolate, boozy additions and dairy free choices 🙂

In accordance with food safety laws we have full allergen information available on request. If in doubt mention any allergies when ording! Foods marked with symbols are free from gluten, wheat, meat and dairy etc as labelled but made in the Firebug kitchen which handles all those ingredients. Although every care is taken, we cannot guarantee that our food is 100% free from nuts, seeds or bones.
