As we head into a new year for students, we thought we should introduce ourselves, and tell you a bit about what we offer for students (new or old). Firebug is an award winning, independent, student friendly bar within easy walking distance of both uni campuses. We’re open from midday until 4am every night. Yep. Every night.
Track our friendly staff down on campus during freshers week, or pop in and see us and you’ll get a free portion of chips and check out our full food menu – including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, alongside options for meat eaters, whichever way you’re inclined, also available every day!
We offer student discounts all day every day and night on food, pints, cocktails, bottles and shots!
Our upstairs venue is crammed full of live music, comedy and club nights throughout the year. We have FREE entry club nights 6 nights a week until 4am, including our Student Rock night every Thursday and Feedback club night on selected Fridays. Check our listings to find out whats on.
As well as all this we have an arcade with pool table upstairs, open every day and retro games consoles available to play free of charge downstairs every day )
