Are you new to Leicester? Are you returning from summer holidays or travelling? We hope you had a great summer, we certainly did, among other things we helped host Handmade and Simon Says Festivals and celebrated our 10th birthday! Massive thanks to Tallships, Gnarwolves, Get Cape Where Cape Fly all the other bands and customers that turned up to make it a truly awesome weekend of fun.
Firebug’s almost always open for food, cocktails and entertainment, alongside downstairs being open until 4am most of the time in the venue we have some great gigs and club nights coming up so check out our listings and see what takes your fancy.

Returning triumphantly to Firebug is a mad idea we had one night at 2am. Karaoke, but EXCLUSIVELY Run DMC, Dre, Snoop, Eminem and the rest, with a healthy dose of RnB from Beyonce, TLC, Destiny’s Child and much, much more. Honestly it’s the funnest thing you’ll try this year. Entry is Free. Saturday 4th Oct – Hip Hop Karaoke!
The Firebug Film Club
Epic screenings from The Firebug Film Club including the Tarantino double bill; Deliciously violent, totally ridiculous and perfectly constructed. Inglourious Basterds: “In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a plan to assassinate Nazi leaders by a group of Jewish U.S. soldiers coincides with a theatre owner’s vengeful plans for the same.” Django Unchained: “With the help of a German bounty hunter, a freed slave sets out to rescue his wife from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner.” Sunday 28th September
