Rumoured to be named after a Victorian prostitute with a very unique talent, Cherry Choke play heavy psychedelic rock. Think Blue Cheer fighting it out with Baby Woodrose as the Jimi Hendrix Experience look on from the bar. Think Molten guitars hyped up on cheap fuzz with an untutored yet soulful vocal courtesy of (ex The Kings Of Frog Island and Josiah) frontman Mathew Bethancourt. Think Heavy Gibson bass grooves from Gregg Hunt (Obscure Ivresse) and a furious Keith Moon drum attack from Dan Lockton.
