Our resident club nights Lava Lounge & Biff Bang Pow are teaming up to bring you a spectacular three day festival on the 27th to the 29th August. Called ‘Lose Your Cool’ it’ll be bringing some awesome bands DJs and auditory shenanigans to Firebug over the bank holiday weekend.

The See See – Recently supported Jack White’s, The Raconteurs and The Brian Jonestown Massacre on their recent UK tours. Psychedelic garage featuring ex members of The Soledad Brothers & The Eighteenth Day of May.
We Three & The Death Rattle – Ex Dirty Backbeat Jess Greengrass’s new band. Black hearted Voodoo blues!
Jamie Says – Excellent Indie pop!

King Salami & The Cumberland Three – R&B Punk mayhem! This band need to be seen! Recently supported The mummies, The Belll rays, The Pretty Things & The Standells.
The Handsome Dicks – garage punk Dirty Water Club faves.
Thee Ludds – amazing nuggets inspired midlands act.
The Despondents – Another Dirty Water Records band. Short sharp garage punk.
The No Brainers – Punk 77 style with a handful of rock and roll.

3) Sunday 29th August – Downstairs at Firebug 1pm til 12am (kids allowed in free til 7pm!)

Lonely Tourist – Scottish troubadour personally asked to support Babyshambles on tour. Former member of Odeon Beat Club…for fans of Fence records, Malcolm Middleton, Arab Strap etc.
Player Piano (Fence Records) – London based Jeremy Radway..has drawn comparisons to The Eels and Ben Folds Five.
Chris Olley (ex Six By Seven) – Six By Seven were ace..heres their main man going solo.
Charles Randolph Slim Rhythm – The Glaswegian Billy Childish
The Vitamin Sees – kraut rock/noise/drone sounds
Daylight Frequencies – psychedelia and shoegaze!
J.C. THOMAZ & THE MISSING SLIPPERS – a Dutch wildmen assault
Thee Vicars – They ‘ve caught the ears of King Khan and The Horrors and recently supported The Black Lips on their European tour.
David Peter & Wilde Sect – fantastic garage beat group from Denmark…music influenced by the stones, kinks,Bo Diddley…
