After what feels like a non stop whirlwind of a Festival fortnight, we’re finally able to sit back and take in just how great it’s been. With sold out shows from Josie Long, Nick Helm, Tony Law and Rob Newman – as well as countless others – it’s been amongst the best festivals of recent years for us. We’d like to extend a massive thank you to Bottle Rocket Comedy for hosting the events once again, and we look forward to many more festival’s working with them.
To top it all off, we’ve been nominated for Best Small Venue at the Dave’s Leicester comedy festival awards, and bottle rocket have been nominated for numerous other awards including Best Promoter, and Best New Show for Marcel Lucont’s Travail en Cours which they hosted here at Firebug.
Huge thanks to the festival organisers and to everyone who came out and made something brilliant happen in our little city. Same again next year?
