Daylight Frequencies

Engaging like Hitchcock or Lynch, the sounds take various paths, sucking the listener in ever closer with tales of murder, hellish visions, love and loss, and the bittersweet luxury of insanity.
Mood after mood, the songs alter from ethereal dreamscapes to huge grinding guitars with incessant pounding waves of noise….

“Daylight Frequencies has got that edge, that deep, heavy sound, that gets into your head and makes you a little mental. Their music will get into you. Check it out – (Dirty Sexy Karma, New York)

Nat Johnson

“Like a cross pollination of lo-fi American indie rockers yo la tengo and the British ’nu-folk’ of Laura marling, Nat Johnson is a refreshing and melodically gifted talent. The Sheffield based singer-songwriter first made a name for herself in the early years of the 21st century as the leader of folk-pop outfit monkey swallows the Universe and her latest venture finds her experimenting with the fringes of folk and americana in much the same way Wilco did with the now classic “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot” album. One of the Norths best kept secrets.”
