2014 is a big year for us. Firebug turns ten years old this year, something we’re both very proud of and incredibly excited about. We’re planning a weeks worth of SERIOUS party times around the official opening date later this summer, but there will be plenty to get excited about throughout the year.
A little closer at hand, here’s some of what you can expect over the coming months: First up in January we’ll be seeing the return of our ever successful Firebug Film Club with another Studio Ghibli special. We’ve every intention of keeping this running at least once a month throughout the year, so watch this space (or join the Film Club Facebook group) to be kept up to date with everything that’s going on.
February is chock full of comedy as we continue to be an important part of Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival in partnership with our longest running promoters Bottle Rocket Comedy Club. You can check out everything comedy centric here.
We’re also continuing our ongoing partnerships with Biff Bang Pow, Wake Up Leicester, Plug, Handmade, The Robot Needs Home Collective, Sweeping the Nation and countless other brilliant promoters who keep coming back month after month.
We think 2014 is going to be the best year yet – and we’re only just getting started. Roll on ten more years!
